State Cemetery Museum
The state cemetery was established by Law No. 2549 for the burial of the presidents of the Republic of Turkey and the leaders of the War of Independence, who were close friends of the great leader Ataturk, and in 2006 AD, the law was changed and it was decided to bury the heads of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and prime ministers in the state cemetery. The museum building consists of two parts: the entrance and the basement, which houses exhibits, property, photos and documents of the presidents and leaders of the War of Independence. In addition, in the basement of the museum the introductory film of the State Cemetery and various films about Atatürk and the War of Independence are shown to visitors.
