The Museum of Fine Arts is located on the first floor of the Rohan Palace, and it presents a wonderful presentation of the history of painting in Europe from its beginnings until 1870. The museum displays the journey of painting through the centuries and through schools of art, including the Italian and Flemish primitives by Giotto and Memling, and there is the Renaissance and Synergy by Botticelli and Raphael, Veronese, Lucas van Leyden, and El Greco, and there is Baroque, Naturalism, and Classicism in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries by Rubens, Voight, Zurbaran, and La Belle Stracorguas by Largillier, Canaletto, Tiepolo, and Goya.
