Sülüklü Han
Khan Soluklu is a historical inn located in Sur, one of the central districts of Diyarbakir. Built by Hanilioğlu Mahmut Çelebi and his sister Atike Hatun in 1683, it is made of black basalt stone. It takes its name from the leeches extracted from the well in the yard and used for medicinal purposes. The ground floor of the inn was used as a barn, but today the upper floors are used as resting places and the lower floors as stables. It is worth mentioning that it was used as a headquarters for cavalry units during the Turkish War of Independence.
