Sunday market in Sousse - Weekly market

The Sousse weekly market is a great pleasure for shopping lovers. It takes place on Sunday every week in the Sunday Market complex, south of the bus station, and you can find everything you need from fresh products, handicrafts, and souvenirs. The market is filled with Tunisian artisanal products such as thick carpets from Kairouan, engraved copper lamps, embroidered dresses, tea sets made of ornate ceramics, multi-coloured leather slippers, and pieces made of olive wood, such as statues, cutlery and kitchenware, and there are plenty of food stalls to sample the local cuisine.
