Surviving the Japanese Occupation: War and Its Legacies

This museum is affiliated to the National Archives of Singapore. which tracks, organizes and preserves historical colonial records. In 2005 the archive acquired and restored the building in which the British surrendered to the Japanese during World War II. The museum is well-organized and air-conditioned, and provides informative tours of that era through short films and expert, friendly, and educated guides.
