Ten Arches Bridge
Ten Arches Bridge
The Ten Bridges is an arched bridge that includes ten archaeological arches dating back to the Ottoman era in Jordan. It is located in Qweismeh, southeast of the city of Amman. It was established by the Turks in 1908 AD to allow the Hijaz Railway to pass through it, which connects the city of Damascus with the cities of Jordan. Today, the ten bridges have not changed, except that they paved the way under them, and they are considered one of the most important archaeological sites in the country.
