The Campbell Collections

It is one of the most exciting museums in South Africa. The Campbell Collections are an internationally acclaimed collection of rare archival materials related to collecting and regional history. The collection includes the Art Collection, the Joe Thorpe Collection of African Art, and the Kelly Campbell Africana Library, which contains works by South African artists. Including some exquisite drawings of Zulu costumes by fashion designer Barbara Tyrrell, the Museum of Mashu Ethnology which has a collection of traditional African pieces, and the William Campbell Collection which features rare pieces of colonial furniture from the Cape region.
