Description of the place
Located in the heart of the historic district of Vegeta, the twin-towered Basilica of Santa Ana is the first church in the Canary Islands and was built on the orders of the Catholic Monarchs, Queen Isabella I of Castile and King Ferdinand II of Aragon. With a charming Gothic architecture, it stands in a picturesque square and houses many prominent religious artworks.
