St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral is a Coptic church located in the heart of Alexandria, and is the seat of the Coptic Orthodox Pope. The cathedral is a unique example of architectural development with its spacious interiors and tall arched ceilings. It can accommodate more than 5,000 worshipers. It is the first destination for pilgrims, especially during the holidays, and celebrations, special events and weddings are held in it.
