The Great al-Omari Mosque

This mosque is located within the ancient city of Sidon in the Dahr El-Mir area, on a high hill that overlooks the sea from the west. Which allows sunlight to flood the hall, and every conqueror of this city used to transform that Canaanite temple into a temple that corresponds to his belief, after he made the necessary repairs on it, until the building returned to a mosque steadily at the end of the Ayyubid era, after the Muslims liberated Sidon from Crusaders.
