The Serpentine
It is a wonderful lake in the city of London, which is frequently visited by tourists, due to the splendor of the place, where the picturesque landscapes and the calm and comfortable atmosphere are. It is a vast natural area of about 16 hectares that was created in 1730 at the request of Queen Caroline. The name Serpentine does not refer to all of the lake, but only to the eastern half of the lake. The lake is fed by the Westbourne River and Tyburn Brook.
