The Taragaon Museum

The Taragon Museum, housed in a uniquely designed building dating back to the 1970s, was established primarily to document the local heritage and preserve the historical stock, artistic and architectural heritage of Kathmandu, as well as to appreciate the efforts of the foreign artists, photographers, architects and anthropologists who worked on it. Kathmandu Valley during the second half of the twentieth century (for a period of 50 years). In addition to the distinctive holdings, this museum provides a small restaurant with a unique atmosphere, distinctive design, and excellent offers.
