Lake Al-Asfar is a lake located in the city of Al-Omran, east of Al-Ahsa region, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is the largest water body in the Gulf region, and it is the only one of its kind in Saudi Arabia. The lake was formed as a result of heavy rains to produce a wonderful view of water in the middle of the desert, which attracts many nature lovers from inside and outside Saudi Arabia. The length of the lake is about 25 kilometers, and desert plants and grasses grow around it to increase its beauty and the beauty of its view. The lake was previously called Lake Hajar, and this lake is a destination for lovers of exotic nature, and for lovers of relaxation in its embrace, as it combines water, desert, and greenery.
