Tlos Ruins

Tullus is an ancient Lycian fortress located on top of a hill near the city of Fethiye in the province of Muğla in southern Turkey, about 4 km northwest of the Saklikent Strait. It is believed to have been one of the most important Lycian religious sites. Lycian settlement at this site is said to have begun more than From 4000 years ago, making it one of the oldest and largest settlements in the region, it was then inhabited by the Romans, Byzantines and eventually the Ottoman Turks, and its ruins are clearly visible today, and it is considered a popular tourist destination in Turkey.
