Description of the place
The Jalra Turji step well was built in the 1740s by Queen Maharaja Abhai Singh, in application of the local tradition of building stairs and wells by queens, and it is one of the ancient traditional buildings with strange architecture, as it is distinguished by carvings Intricate handmade, and it is said that the women of the city used to bathe and pray in it before sunrise on the Ganguar day reserved for women.
