Turkish Aeronautical Association Museum
The history of the Turkish Aviation Association Museum dates back to 2002, when the city government decided to create an introductory space that includes all the valuable information about the history of aviation in Turkey. The museum campus consists of 287 square meters of indoor space and 5,000 square meters of open space. The museum shows the development of the history of aviation in the world and in Turkey in particular in dedicated halls that include many documents and photographs that enrich the cultural content. The museum also displays the uniforms, medals and insignia used by the Turkish Aviation Association. Finally, after completing this special tour, visitors are provided with the opportunity to inspect the helicopter pilot's cabin, which is displayed in the museum's garden, and to experience jumping from the historic tower under the supervision of parachuting instructors.
