Description of the place
Ulucanlar Prison is the first prison built in the Republic of Turkey in 1925 AD, and it was closed in 2006 AD, and in June 2011, the prison reopened its doors, but this time with a completely different identity, as today it is considered a museum and a center for culture and arts that many visitors and locals flock to. The prison is unique in Ankara and provides an emotional and informative tour of the country's ancient history.
