Unye Fortress

Onia Castle is a ruined historical military castle located in Ordu Province in Turkey, dating back to the era of Pontus in the second and first centuries BC. The castle was characterized by a huge building that includes passages, wells, caves, royal tombs, ruins of ancient walls, and long tunnels. The architectural styles inspired by the Greek, Roman, and partly Ottoman eras are evident in the castle building.
