Description of the place
Lake Wan is the largest lake in Turkey and the second largest body of water in the Middle East. It is located in the eastern Anatolia region. It covers an area of 3,713 square kilometers and has a width of more than 119 km at its widest point. The lake is surrounded by snow-capped peaks, along with a group of churches and palaces. The historical Armenian temple is worth a visit, and the lake's waters are attractive and invite visitors for a quiet swim.
