Vespasian Fountain

The Vespasian Fountain is a monument that got its current name because of the inscription on its facade, which indicates that the monument was erected in honor of Emperor Vespasian. The structure is 5.4 meters high and 6.4 meters wide, and it will consist of a central and semi-oval structure and two niches placed On both sides of it, and in the central alcove once stood a statue of Emperor Vespasian, and the left and right icons are decorated with statues of female figures, and the icons contain two columns in front and two half-columns in the back, and this monument not only played an engineering and religious role, but also served as a fountain, drawing water from the main canal of the city.
