Villa Majorelle
The Villa Majorelle is an iconic Art Nouveau building designed by architect Henri Sauvage for the Nancy-based furniture designer Louis Majorelle. His son, Jacques Majorelle, sold the house to the government after his father's death in 1926. The gradual rediscovery of the Art Nouveau heritage led to the inclusion of Villa Majorelle as a historical monument in 1975.
