Wadi Al-Hujair Reserve
Wadi Al-Hujeir Reserve is considered the second largest reserve after the Shouf Reserve in Lebanon. It is located in Jabal Amel in southern Lebanon. It extends from the course of the Litani River in the Ka’ayat al-Jisr below the city of Nabatiyeh to the town of Aitaroun in the Bint Jbeil district. Its area is about 26 square kilometers, and there is a landmark in it. Important and famous is the Al-Hajir spring, which irrigates large areas of land. The reserve is usually crowded with visitors, especially during the summer months when the weather is beautiful and warm.
