Description of the place
Wadi El Gemal Reserve includes an exceptional ecosystem, with many natural features and beautiful scenery, including a large terrestrial and marine area with a group of islands. It is home to mammals and birds in addition to marine life, including coral reefs and turtles. The area has a number of landmarks archaeological sites, including the famous pharaonic emerald mine.
