Description of the place
Featuring glittering spiers and fearsome green dragons, the Thai Buddhist Temple of Wat Cheamankalaram is one of the most ornate temples on Penang Island and the oldest Malaysian Siamese temple there. Inside is a 33-meter giant reclining Buddha statue, plated with gold, signifying peace and freedom from the material world. In front of it is a temple Great Burmese.
