Wat Damnak Temple
Located along Wat Bo Temple Road, Wat Damnak is the largest temple in downtown Siem Reap. It was originally a royal palace during the reign of King Sisowath before becoming a military depot for the Khmer Rouge between 1975 and 1979. It contains a primary school and two societies Two charities and a sewing academy for local young women, and a great place to witness the daily lives of the resident monks who are happy to educate people about Buddhism.
