Description of the place
Watts Gallery is an Edwardian art gallery and heritage site consisting of historic Arts and Crafts buildings, teaching studios for arts and pottery workshops, tea shop, woodland and landscaped grounds. Located in the village of Compton near Guildford in Surrey, it displays a collection of works by the Victorian painter and sculptor George Frederick George Frederic Watts, and it has been included in the National Heritage List for England since June 1975.
