Description of the place
The western archaeological area is part of the ancient city of Kos, which was completely abandoned by the inhabitants of the island during the Middle Ages and the period of the Knights. However, excavations have brought to light a number of important structures and monuments of great importance. Among those sights found there are the Thermes Port, the North and West Baths, the paved road (Cardo), the Limestone Gallery and much more.
