White Desert

The White Desert is considered one of the natural treasures of the Arab Republic of Egypt. It was given this name in relation to its sands and white terrain resulting from the climate change that the region has been exposed to from 70 million years ago to the present day. This wonderful desert embraces what is called "the chicken and the mushroom", which is a large white rock. This desert is considered an open museum for the study of the desert environment and geographical phenomena, and it was declared a natural reserve in 2002, in order to preserve it and start its own excavations.
