Description of the place
The state mosque is also called the "Mosque of the Federal Territory" and "Mosque of Kuala Lumpur", and it has been located in the city of Kuala Lumpur since 2000. It is the forty-fourth mosque built by the government within the city limits, and it can accommodate about 17,000 worshipers at one time, and is distinguished by its design that combines between Ottoman and Malaysian architectural styles, and its design is inspired by the Blue Mosque in Istanbul.
