Winkworth Arboretum
Winkworth Arboretum is a nursery owned by the National Trust, located in southwest Surrey, with an area of 95 acres. It was established by Dr. Wilfrid Fox in 1938 and continued to equip it during World War II, as he improved the lands and planted them with carefully selected trees and shrubs to beautify their autumnal appearance. The arboretum contains more than a thousand species of trees, in addition to large groups of rose bushes on the slopes leading to the lakes of the gardens.
