Winspear Opera House
The Winspear Opera House is located in downtown Dallas, and it is part of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts. It was opened in 2009 with a donation from Bill and Margot Winspear, as the Opera House was named after them. The building was designed in the form of a horseshoe, which is the traditional design known for opera houses. The hall seats approximately 2,300 people, as it hosts many musical performances in addition to ballet performances.
