Wiwilí Bridge
Since the link between the Stohlinger district and the Old Town was closed to cars in 1980, the Wieweli Bridge has become a popular spot and is one of the most important links from West Freiburg to the city center for pedestrians and cyclists. About 8,000 people pass through the iron lattice bridge, which was built in the late 19th century every day. It is one of the last remaining bridges of its kind in Germany, and is particularly distinguished by its curved arches and blue colour.
