Yeşil Mosque
The Yesil Mosque is located in the Yesil district of Izmir. It was built in 1419 AD by Sultan Muhammad Çeleb. It is one of the mosques with an "inverted T" plan. It is one of the most beautiful historical buildings in Bursa, as it is distinguished by the crown gate at The entrance to the mosque, which is a beautiful product of Turkish carving on stone. Green stone and marble were used in the arch of the door. There are two windows to the right and left of the stone door and an external altar between them. Many Islamic inscriptions and decorations and Quranic verses were engraved on the walls that give a sense of reverence and prestige.
