Zachęta – National Gallery of Art
The National Museum of Art, or Zacheta, is an art museum in Warsaw that aims to support local artists, as it hosts many works of art by Polish artists, and organizes temporary exhibitions that include a group of artworks from around the world. The word Zaceta in Polish means "encouragement." Where the museum derives its name from the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts, which was founded in 1860 AD.
