Description of the place
The Zero Meridian Monument is located near the Urquila Lighthouse on the charming island of El Hierro, and many consider it the original meridian on which it was relied since ancient Greek times before being transferred to the Observatory in Greenwich. It is a simple monument of very symbolic importance, and adventure lovers can enjoy the different paths around it which provide stunning landscapes.
