Ziya Gokalp Museum

Ziya Gökalp Museum is a house museum in Diyarbakir, Turkey. Ziya Gökalp was one of the most important thinkers and spokesmen for the Turkish national movement and this museum is the home where he was born and raised. The building was built in 1808, and then the house was purchased by the Ministry of Culture in 1953. It opened as a house museum on March 23, 1956. The building consists of a ground floor and an upper floor. You can visit it with your family to learn about its history and contemplate the details of its ancient design.
