Zoological and Botanical Park of Mulhouse
The Mulhouse Zoological and Botanical Garden was founded in 1868 by a group of industrialists in the city of Mulhouse. It includes impressive collections of exotic and local plants. It also includes a large zoo that houses more than 1,200 animals. It is part of the Endangered Species Breeding Program, where rare species live. Very popular like Siberian tigers, zebras, polar bears, musk otters, arctic foxes, red pandas and Madagascar lemurs along with the more common animals such as parrots, wolves and sea lions.
