This region also enjoys some highlands and mountains with volcanic activity, in addition to that it represents an appropriate opportunity to go through many experiences and adventures such as hiking, climbing and cliff jumping in the Minalunga National Reserve. Its western coast is home to learning about colonial architecture and masterpieces of the ancient world, and some festivals are held in this region, such as the wonderful sea turtle hatching festival.
