Northern Gate – The first thing you see when you enter the old city of Kotor is the northern gate, which is distinguished by its wonderful design that has survived from the Middle Ages. Consisting of two parts, the largest part belongs to the Hellenistic period between the fourth and first centuries BC, and the newer part belongs to the Roman period from the first and second centuries AD. A total of 450 tombs were discovered, and it is believed that these tombs have been used for more than a thousand years.
