40-step Culture & Tourism Theme Street

The 40-step Culture and Tourism Street is a 450-meter-long street that leads to a 40-step staircase belonging to the Forty Steps Cultural Center. It embodies the joys and sorrows of refugees and displaced persons due to the Korean War. The entire area has been recently renovated to reflect life in Korea in the 1950s and 1960s. Twenty across a group of bronze statues, the street was rated the "Best Street" in the country by the Busan Municipality in June 2004.
