Aboriginal Tent Embassy
The Aboriginal Embassy is a controversial semi-permanent gathering that claims to represent the political rights of Indigenous Australians and includes a large group of activists, tents and banners in the garden of Old Parliament House in Canberra, whose demands have included objecting to Aboriginal land encroachment, legal and political control over some of the holy sites, and compensation for lands they claim were stolen. It should also be noted that the Australian government does not consider this embassy an official embassy. If you would like to know more about these exciting events, you can visit this place.
