Acosta Mine Site Museum
The Acosta mine began its work in 1727 AD in the state of Hidalgo and maintained its productive activity until 1985 AD. Today it has become an important museum through which one can learn the history of the art of mining and aspects related to this business. On the site, there are monuments and architectural structures that testify to the stages of the historical mining era: colonization, immigration, and English investment in the region, starting with the age of steam and the arrival of electricity with North American investors.
