Al Ain Oasis

Al Ain Oasis is a wide chain of date palm plantations linked by pedestrian walkways and located in the heart of the city. It is a very beautiful oasis with many trees. A small museum near the main entrance does a good job of explaining the importance of palm trees in traditional life, while the oasis itself contains nearly 150,000 palm trees. The palm groves are still fed by canals using the traditional irrigation system, which has been in use in the UAE for 3,000 years. This place is a great choice for anyone seeking some relaxing picnic time. Horseback riding and buggy tours of the oasis are available at the main entrance.
