Description of the place
Al Ansab is an artificial wetland located 15 kilometers from the center of Muscat, specially created to be the first artificial sanctuary for migratory birds and various animals. The monuments include a number of lakes, with turbid water, suitable to be home to all kinds of animals. The monument is also a tourist destination for bird watching and also provides educational opportunities as a long-term observation site.
