Al Qattara Oasis

Al Qattara Oasis is located in the heritage city of Al Ain, an hour and a half away from the capital. It also extends over vast hectares that include palm and fruit trees, a 4,000-year-old mausoleum, historic mosques, fortified houses and markets, all of which form a mixture of ancient history and heritage. In the midst of these vast areas of palm trees, fruit orchards, and quiet lanes are nineteen historical monuments that include mosques, fortified houses, and a popular market dating back to the mid-eighteenth and early twentieth centuries.
