Al Thakhira Beach

Al Thakhira Beach is a coastal stretch with a paved walkway and benches, where it is popular for family gatherings. The atmosphere here is very nice and full of joy and fun, where you can spend the perfect time with family or friends and watch the magical sunset while feeling the fresh sea breeze. The Ministry of Municipality and Environment, represented by the Public Cleanliness Department, implemented a comprehensive campaign to clean Al Thakhira Beach, which is about a kilometer long, during which about 18 tons of gravel were removed as a first stage, and then rehabilitated the beach by covering it with a layer of fine sand along its length as an outlet for families.
