Alaca Tomb

The historical tomb of Alaka for Prince Sadr al-Din Omar bin Jalal al-Din Muhammad was built by Prince Jamal al-Din bin Muhammad in the year 1280 AD according to the information contained in the inscription engraved on it. It is considered one of the most prominent symbols of the city of Kayseri. The square shape, which bears a cone in the form of a pyramid above it, and the entrance door to the tomb is located in the northern part, and all the decorations of the dome are located on the northern door and around the window on the western facade, and it is dominated by geometric and plant motifs.
