The Bidiyah Mosque is located in the village of Bidiyah in the United Arab Emirates, on the road from the city of Khorfakkan to the city of Dibba Al-Fujairah. It is the oldest mosque in the country, and prayers are still held in it until now. It was built around the year 1446 AD from local materials, and burnt clay was used as a bonding material for the construction. It was roofed with four domes resting on one central column, and the prayer hall in it contains a mihrab and a small pulpit.
