Description of the place
One of the oldest landmarks in the city, and the history of Al Maqtaa Fort dates back nearly 200 years. It has been restored and preserved, due to the importance and historical value of the heritage of the city of Abu Dhabi. The fort includes a number of rooms and a watchtower above the old building.
