Description of the place
The Aletsch Glacier is one of many glaciers located between the cantons of Berne and Valais on the Bernese Alps east of the Gemme Pass. The entire region is considered the largest glacier in western Eurasia. Incredibly large and enchanting, this river is the most powerful glacier flow of the Alps, easily accessible and suitable for winter sports and private nature walks.
